ISLAS DEL ROSARIO BY SAILBOAT

Price is per person (min charter 2 persons)

The majority of tourists visiting the Rosarios archipeligo travel there by crowded launch and see little other than the resort to which they are ferried. Our charters bring a different perspective to these areas because we are there 'out-of-hours'. And sunsets in the Rosarios are always spectacular when viewed from the deck of a sailboat with sundowner in hand. Our modern Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 361 named 'Taree' has two comfortable private cabins There is a seperate shower with H&C water and the spacious cockpit has an outside dining area with step thru' transom and swim platform for easy access to sea level.

DAY ONE

We depart from the marina berth at 9:00 am and sail directly to Cholon at the southern end of the Baru peninsular. Sailing time is about 4 hours. This beautiful lagoon has a native beach restaurant with a wide choice of seafood and where your lunch table is set in the water. Later in the afternoon we set sail for Isla Grande in the Rosarios archipeligo and we drop anchor at this location around 5:00 pm. Supper and drinks will be served onboard the sailboat.

DAY TWO

Breakfast is served onboard after which we recommend some snorkelling on the best coral reefs in the archipeligo. Lunch is taken ashore on Isla Pavito in a tranquil location remote from day-trippers. In the afternoon we will sail to the lagoon of Portonaito close to Playa Blanca for our second overnight stop. You can relax onboard or explore the lagoon by dinghy. The days activities will again terminate with supper and drinks served onboard.

DAY THREE

After a leisurely breakfast we head down to the beach at Playa Blanca for the morning and lunch on the beach, returning home in the early afternoon and arriving in the marina at approximately 4:00 pm. Hopefully our guests will take the helm during the run home in the sheltered waters of the bay.

DAY SAILING

Our sailboat is also available with skipper for day sailing and is an excellent opportunity for learning to sail or just relaxing. The Rosarios are too far for a single days sail so we cruise around the island of Tierra Bomba. We anchor and go ashore for lunch at Castillo San Fernando in Bocachica, bringing plenty of variety to your day afloat. Alternatively, weather permitting, we will sail along the coast to Playa Blanca and spend approximately 3 hours for lunch and and swimming off this beautiful beach. .
